Data Execution Prevention

Data Execution Prevention (DEP) adalah ciri keselamatan yang termasukkan di sistem pengendalian Microsoft Windows moden yang bertujuan menghalang aplikasi atau servis dari menjalankan kod dari kawasan ingatan yang tidak dijalankan.

DEP yang diperkenalkan di Windows XP Service Pack 2 dan termasukkan dalam Windows XP Tablet PC Edition 2005, Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 dan Windows Vista. Versi sistem-sistem pengendalian kemudiannya boleh menyokong ciri itu.
