Player’s Choice

Player’s Choice on Nintendon lanseerama leima, jolla se markkinoi Super Nintendo Entertainment Systemin, Game Boyn, Nintendo 64:n, Game Boy Advancen ja Nintendo GameCuben hyvin myyneitä videopelejä. Kaikilla alustoilla leiman saamiseen vaadittiin miljoona myytyä kappaletta, paitsi GameCubella, jolla raja on asetettu 250 000 kappaleeseen[1] . Kun pelistä lanseerattiin Player’s Choice -versio, sen myyntihinta aleni. Player’s Choice -konseptia on lainattu Segan Sega All Stars -leimaan, Sonyn Platinum- ja Essentials -leimaan ja Xboxin Platinum Hits ja Xbox Classics -leimaan.

NTSC-alueella Player’s Choice -pelit tunnistaa logon keltaisesta taustasta; Nintendo 64:llä Player’s Choice -leima on pelikotelon oikeassa yläkulmassa keltaisella taustalla, GameCubella kotelon ylälaidassa keltaisessa laatikossa. PAL-alueilla pelikotelot on väritetty hopealla tai platinalla, Player’s Choice -leiman ollessa Nintendo 64:n pelikoteloissa oikealla puolella ja GameCuben koteloissa ylälaidassa.

Vuonna 2011 Nintendo antoi hinta-alennetuille peleille uuden leiman nimeltä ”Nintendo Selects”.[2]
