Caterpillar 3208

The Caterpillar 3208 is a turbocharged 10.4 L inline 8-cylinder diesel engine manufactured by Caterpillar and first introduced in 1975. The Caterpillar 3208 was discontinued in 1999 due to was known to get through quite a lot of fuel, consequently meaning it did not meet the criteria of the internal combustion exhaust emission laws which were due to come into force.[1]
