Bowlesville Township is one of ten townships in Gallatin County, Illinois, USA. As of the 2020 census, its population was 132 and it contained 72 housing units.[1]

Geography

According to the 2021 census gazetteer files, Bowlesville Township has a total area of 39.73 square miles (102.90 km2), of which 38.53 square miles (99.79 km2) (or 96.99%) is land and 1.20 square miles (3.11 km2) (or 3.01%) is water.[2]

The racial makeup of the township was 91.67% White, 1.52% African American, 0.76% Native American, 2.27% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 3.79% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.76% of the population.

There were 37 households, all of which were non-families. 100.00% of all households were made up of individuals, and 51.40% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
